5 Tips to Keep Your Upper Body Strong

Our physical therapy team is committed to keeping our patients healthy and have provided tips to keep you healthy while at home. Here are five tips to keep you upper body healthy and strong.

1.)   Do push ups against the wall during conference calls/phone calls.

2.)   Do 20 arm circles forward/backward, palms up/palms down at each commercial break during your Netflix binge watching sessions, commercial breaks or between episodes.

3.)   Squeeze your shoulder blades together tightly while doing the dishes.

4.)   Hold your full water bottle straight out in front of you and straight out to the side for 30-60 seconds after filling/refilling.

5.)   Punch it out – do boxing jabs and crosses to the beat of a song for the entire song.
