A distinguished board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon with over 30 years of expertise in trauma surgery. As the field of trauma surgery advances, Dr. Wyrick ensures his patients have access to the latest and most effective treatment options.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from The Ohio State University and subsequently obtained his Medical Degree from Wright State University. Dr. Wyrick’s journey includes a one-year internship in general surgery at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, a research fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Cincinnati, and a comprehensive five-year residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. Further enhancing his expertise, he completed a one-year fellowship at Mary S. Stern Hand Surgery at Cincinnati and Bethesda Hospitals.
He has also completed an additional trauma fellowship in Germany and Switzerland. His expertise is in orthopedic trauma and trauma reconstruction for infected fractures or fractures which are difficult to heal.
He also treats patients with limb deformity including limb lengthening using the latest techniques with internal lengthening devices. Dr. Wyrick’s diverse and extensive training uniquely positions him as a seasoned expert in the field.

In addition to his local contributions, Dr. Wyrick has demonstrated a commitment to global healthcare by participating in the Village Life Outreach Project in Tanzania, Africa, for the past five years. He also enjoys many outdoor activities and traveling and is an avid cyclist.
