Healthcare Immersion Internship Program

Beacon Orthopedics recognizes the value and interest in education and career exploration.  Choosing to apply for the 4-week Immersion Internship may help you gain useful information about skills and/or education required for various health care paths such as Orthopedic Surgery, sports medicine, administration, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Training.

This internship is open ONLY to students entering into their senior year of high school. To apply for this opportunity, you will need to be nominated by an administrator at your school, submit a two-page essay on why you are interested in this field, emphasizing how the internship would benefit you, and submit a high school transcript.

What is the Healthcare Immersion Internship Program?

You will be involved, watching how the individual interacts with patients, performs procedures, manages the daily schedule, and converses with coworkers.

Requirements:

  • Nomination from school administrator (principle or athletic director)
