Kathryn Haynes, Medical Assistant/ATC

Katy is a licensed clinical athletic trainer and she has worked for Beacon and Dr. Maldonado since June 2024. Before that, she worked at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and spent two years in a sports medicine clinic and six years in collegiate athletics prior to that. Katy graduated with her undergraduate degree in athletic training from the University of Cincinnati in 2016 and her graduate degree in kinesiology from the University of Illinois in 2018.

Mikayla Martin, Medical Assistant

Mikayla started at Beacon Orthopaedics in May of 2022 and joined Dr. Maldonado’s team in July of 2023. Mikayla graduated from Morehead State University in 2021 with her Bachelors degree in Exercise Science with a focus in Physical Therapy.
