Two Beacon Physicians Named Outstanding Physicians for High School Athletics

The State of Ohio Medical Association and Ohio High School Athletic Association have announced the 2010 recipients of the Outstanding Team Physicians for High School Athletics. Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is proud to have two of our doctors named. For over two decades, Dr. Robert Burger and Dr. Timothy Kremchek have served as team physicians for Archbishop Moeller High School and La Salle High School in Cincinnati.  These physicians are not only partners, they are original partners of Beacon Orthopaedics.

Since its creation in 1996, Beacon Orthopaedics has been providing outstanding athletic and musculoskeletal care to high school athletes and patients of all ages.

Dr. Robert Burger is a Cincinnati native, graduate of La Salle High School and the University of Notre Dame. Dr. Burger currently serves as team physician for the La Salle Lancers, College of Mt. St. Joseph, as well as medical director for Xavier University Men’s and Women’s sport teams.

Dr. Tim Kremchek is a graduate of Indian Hill High School and Wittenberg University, Springfield, OH. Currently, he holds the same title, team physician, at Moeller High school where his father Edward J. Kremchek, MD served the Crusaders for 25 years. In addition to his duties as team physician for Indian Hill High School, Dr. Kremchek is medical director for the Cincinnati Reds.
