CINCINNATI, OH – Adam Abraham, M.D., a Cincinnati native and University of Cincinnati graduate, has joined Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine.

Dr. Abraham will primarily serve patients at Beacon’s recently opened Mason Stadium Complex at 4859 Nixon Park Drive on the Mason High School campus. Dr. Abraham has a personal connection to the community and, through his training and experience, is uniquely positioned to provide compassionate, patient-centered care and value to his hometown. Dr. Abraham is a fellowship trained in utilizing a variety of image-guided interventions, including epidural steroid injections, joint injections, nerve ablation, and spinal cord and peripheral nerve stimulation. He is dedicated to enhancing patients’ lives by increasing access to a full spectrum of therapies, ranging from conservative approaches to minimally invasive procedures.

“It is all about helping patient’s lives be better through accessibility to our services and delivering quality healthcare at a great value,” Dr. Abraham said. “Beacon has offices throughout the region with specialists offering non-operative procedures to the most advanced surgical specialties and physical therapy. So in terms of orthopedic care or an issue related to pain, somebody at Beacon is close by and can help.”

“I am very excited about coming home, especially as a part of Beacon,” Dr. Abraham said. “When I was growing up, everyone knew about Beacon. It was the name you always heard when it came to orthopaedics. So when I began looking for an opportunity in the Cincinnati area, Beacon was the first place I had in mind.”

Dr. Abraham said he looks forward to seeing and treating patients at Beacon’s clinic at Mason Stadium Complex, which offers care not only to student-athletes – but the entire community.

“Part of the reason this location was so attractive to me is that it’s integrated into the Mason community,” he said, “It’s not a typical doctor’s office. We are right on campus. Along with providing great and convenient care, I hope we become an asset to the community and build a presence so that people know they can come to us for help with whatever care they need.”

After graduating from the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor’s degree in economics, Dr. Abraham earned a master of sciences in biological sciences and a doctor of medicine from the University of Toledo College of Medicine.

Dr. Abraham completed his residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the Cleveland Clinic and received advanced training during his fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at Detroit Medical Center at Wayne State University in Detroit.
