Dayton, Ohio —Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is proud to announce its new role as the official sports medicine provider for Alter High School in Dayton, Ohio. This partnership represents a significant advancement in delivering exceptional medical support to the school’s athletic program.
Dr. Drew Burleson will serve as the Medical Director for Alter High School, collaborating closely with athletic trainers and staff to ensure top-tier care for all student-athletes.

As a former collegiate basketball player at Wright State University, Dr. Burleson has a deep connection to the Dayton region. His experience as an athlete and medical expertise uniquely position him to lead Alter High School’s sports medicine program.

Student-athletes will benefit from expedited access to Beacon’s facilities in case of injury. The partnership will also focus on daily practice care, injury prevention, and personalized rehabilitation programs to help athletes safely and swiftly return to their sports.
