Nicole Goddard, DO and certified yoga instructor with Beacon Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, is leading a free biweekly Yoga series that focuses on overall health benefits for the aging population. This course teaches basic breathing techniques and gentle movements at a suitable pace for all participants. Beacon Orthopaedics and the Cincinnati Sports Club is committed to helping the local community learn more about the impacts of the pandemic on personal health and develop simple strategies to improve the way we live. Dr. Nicole Goddard is Board Certified in Family Medicine with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Primary Care Sports Medicine. She sees patients primarily at our Wilmington College Campus location and also at Summit Woods in Sharonville, OH. Originally from West Virginia, Dr. Goddard received her Bachelor of Science in Pre-Professional Biology in 2008 from Concord University. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine in 2012 from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and spent her residency at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte, WV until 2015. Her Fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine was at the Cleveland Clinic, South Pointe Hospital in Warrensville Heights, OH. During her Fellowship, Dr. Goddard worked with competitive athletes of all ages, as well as the general public. Dr. Goddard treats a wide variety of orthopedic and sports medicine injuries and is accepting new patients. Having grown up in a rural area, she enjoys the small town atmosphere of Wilmington, OH. In her spare time she enjoys practicing yoga and playing golf.
