Dylan Rose, PA-C, Physician Assistant
Dylan Rose, PA-C, joined Beacon as Dr. Peter Cha’s Physician Assistant after graduating from Kettering College with his Masters of Physician Assistant studies. Dylan has worked in the Sports Medicine field for numerous years as a Board Certified and Licensed Athletic Trainer in Ohio. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training at the University of Cincinnati. During his time at UC, Dylan worked closely with a number of sports teams, including UC football, swimming and diving, track and field, and several local high schools.
Alberto Maldonado, M.D., Partner Physician
Alberto Maldonado, M.D., is a physician who specializes in musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Puerto Rico and obtained his medical degree at the New York Medical College. Dr. Maldonado completed his residency at the SUNY Upstate Medical University Hospital and received his fellowship in sports medicine from the Wright State University.
Dr. Maldonado currently manages the sports medicine care of multiple area high schools, and he is an active volunteer at Back2Back Ministries in Greater Cincinnati
Nikki Wong, Medical Administrative Assistant
Nikki serves as a medical assistant, surgery scheduler, and administrative assistant to Dr. Peter Cha. She has been an integral team member to Beacon Orthopaedics and Team Cha since 2004. In her current role, Nikki helps to schedule surgery, coordinate all aspects of pre and post-operative care for patients, assisting with clinic, and managing Dr. Cha’s overall practice.
She is a Cincinnati native that is married with two boys. In her free time, she enjoys attending her boys’ sporting events, and cheering on the Cincinnati Bearcats football team.
Jordan Nichols, Medical Assistant/ATC
Jordan is a Cincinnati native, who graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2015 with her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training. After completing her undergraduate studies she pursued a full time job as a collegiate athletic trainer at Thomas More University; where she worked on the sideline to assess, triage, and treat musculoskeletal injuries. During her time at TMU, she also attained her Master of Arts in Ethical Leadership, graduating in 2020. She joined Team Cha in 2021 as a clinical athletic trainer. As such, her responsibilities include managing clinic flow, answering questions, and tending to patient needs. In her free time Jordan enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and crafting.
