Chad Unger, Physician Assistant

Chad has worked as Dr. Langenderfer’s physician assistant for 15 years. Before becoming a PA, he earned his Bachelor’s of Science in biology from Mount Saint Joseph in 1994, where he played college football. One season, Chad fractured his ankle and had to undergo surgery. Only one year after his recovery he earned All American Honors as a defensive back. This experience made him realize that he wanted to work in orthopedics and help patients recover from their injuries the same way that he did. After undergrad, Chad attended Kettering College of Medical Arts PA program. He now enjoys traveling, snow skiing, and watching sports with his wife, Maura, and their three sons.
