Our Physicians

Justin J. Kruer, M.D.

"I have seen a lot of physicians over the past four years. I have what I believe to be an amazing team of physicians who attend to my care. Dr. Kruer, by far, is my favorite. He diagnosed, took affirmative action and gave me a life again. Struggling with chronic pain in my neck, head and shoulders, I had almost given up until I was referred to Dr. Kruer. His treatment has made the difference in my life. "

Justin Kruer, M.D. is an anesthesiologist at Beacon Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. He is fellowship trained in Pain Medicine, and he has been providing patients with pain management care since 2013.  Dr. Kruer is able to offer non-surgical options including injections and radiotherapy to those suffering from chronic pain.

Very few cases require surgery, and often patients suffer from chronic pain where surgery simply isn’t an option. This can cause people to miss work and forego activities with their friends and family. As a pain management physician, Dr. Kruer wants to help patients experience freedom from pain.  He enjoys helping people get back to work and return to the things they love.

According to the World Health Organization, three of the top ten reasons people visit the doctor are joint, back, and neck pain. Dr. Justin Kruer is able to help patients alleviate or manage their chronic pain without surgery. He currently sees patients at the southernmost Beacon location in Northern Kentucky.

Dr. Justin Kruer attended The University of Notre Dame for his undergraduate studies and completed medical school at the University of Louisville. He currently resides in Edgewood, Kentucky with his wife, Kira, and four children.
