Beacon Orthopaedics, The Christ Hospital Health Network, Drayer Physical Therapy Partner with Madeira City Schools
Five year agreement is extended, Drayer is added to expand scope of care.
Sharonville, OH – Beacon Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, The Christ Hospital Health Network, and Drayer Physical Therapy Institute have partnered with the Madeira City Schools to continue as the official Sports Medicine Providers. New to the partnership this year is Drayer Physical Therapy. Drayer will be providing the expertise of Glenna Knapp, the full-time, on-site Athletic Trainer for the high school to care for all home athletic events, as well as away football games. Glenna will also be responsible for daily practice care, injury prevention, and rehabilitation services.
Beacon Orthopaedics and The Christ Hospital will be providing access to world class Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Care. Dr. Timothy Kremchek will continue in his current role as Medical Director for Madeira. As Medical Director, he will continue to work closely with the Athletic Trainer to oversee the Sports Medicine Program. “We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Madeira City Schools,” said Dr. Kremchek, “We have a long standing relationship with the Madeira community, and bringing Drayer Physical Therapy into the agreement will continue to raise the level of care provided.”
In the event that an injury occurs, student athletes can expect to see Dr. Kremchek within 24-hours. All Madeira students, community members, and staff will have priority access to all services within Beacon Orthopaedics, Drayer Physical Physical Therapy and The Christ Hospital Health Network.
Also as a continuation of the previous agreement, The Christ Hospital Health Network will support Madeira students through their funding of the full-time nurse at the high school campus. This will aid the school district by allowing them to focus their resources in other areas of need. Assistant Superintendent, Tim Weber shared his excitement of the new partnership “We’re grateful for the tremendous support that we receive through Beacon Orthopaedics, The Christ Hospital Health Network, and Drayer Physical Therapy and are excited to continue this partnership that helps to provide these wonderful services to our students and families.”
With plans to open a physical therapy clinic in the Montgomery area this fall, adding Drayer Physical Therapy to the agreement will allow the partners to provide quality care even closer to home for the Madeira community. Regional Athletic Training Coordinator for Drayer Physical Therapy Joe Hacker said, “Drayer is proud to join in the partnership with Beacon Orthopedics and The Christ Hospital Health Network in serving the Madeira community going forth.”
The partnership continuation goes into effect immediately, with no interruption in services.
