Beacon Orthopaedics and The Christ Hospital Announce Partnership with King’s Hammer
March 6, 2017
Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine and The Christ Hospital are proud to announce the initiation of a partnership with Kings Hammer Soccer Club to provide preventative care and coverage for over 1,800 youth athletes. Kings Hammer also hosts seven events throughout the year that will bring together over 18,000 youth athletes this year.
Kings Hammer focuses on developing players to their fullest potential through the highest levels of training in Ohio and Kentucky. The number of teams competing on a national level continues to increase, so having appropriate medical care on the sidelines is imperative. The partnership with Beacon Orthopaedics and The Christ Hospital will provide trainers at local training events, camps and tournaments, nutrition planning, strength and conditioning, performance benchmarking, and a full spectrum of care for injured athletes.
“We are thrilled to partner with Kings Hammer,” stated Andy Blankemeyer, CEO of Cincinnati based Beacon Orthopaedics. “Soccer can be a taxing sport for young athletes, and competing at a national level deserves nationally renowned care. Nutrition plans and conditioning will go a long way toward preventing injuries. Our main goal in this partnership is to allow athletes to play at their best and stay well.”
“We are delighted to partner with Kings Hammer,” said Herb Caillouet, Executive Director of Musculoskeletal Services at The Christ Hospital. “This partnership allows us to provide athletes not only with excellent Orthopaedic care, but access to outstanding specialists of all types.
Dave McIver, General Manager of Kings Hammer, added, “Our partnership with Beacon Orthopaedics and The Christ Hospital allows us to take our organization to the next level in terms of providing the best coverage for our athletes. The performance benchmarking Beacon brings to the table is key, and the level of service we have seen with both systems is truly second to none. I can’t think of better sports medicine partners and look forward to seeing this partnership benefit all Kings Hammer players in a positive manner.”
Beacon Orthopaedics and The Christ Hospital partner to provide outstanding sports medicine and wellness care to Greater Cincinnati student athletes and their families. Supporting Kings Hammer will allow the club to continue striving towards the goals of improving overall player and team development and increasing national recognition, while reducing sports related injuries.
