I wanted to pass along “kudos” to the group that I worked with at Beacon.  First of all Nancy, Dr. Burgers assistant/scheduler.  In a word, Amazing!  I have never dealt with anyone like her before.  She is kind, caring, efficient and a true asset to your organization.

 

Next, Dr. Burger, He does a wonderful job.  He replaced my right knee 4 years ago and now my left in December, 2016.  Could not be more impressed with him.

 

Next step is up to PT.  I was with Meghan’s group.  I worked predominantly with Bryton and Brandi and occasionally Meghan.  I was impressed with all of them. They help, push… all the while showing care and concern for you.  One time inparticular I had a very bad session.  My issue, no one elses.  The next day I received a call from Bryton to make sure that I was okay and to see if i had any questions or concerns.  That made my day and helped me to feel as if I was not alone in my pursuit of returning to normal.

 

Lastly and certainly not leastly, Marsha who greets you at the door.  At first I did not get it.  It is an automatic door what do they need her for?  Well, I quickly learned a cheery hello, an umbrella bag on rainy days, a “how did it go today?”, a ” wow, no more walker ” or “where did that cane go?”  All things that let you know that she cares and is looking out for you.

 

From the first call into Nancy to set up an appt for a knee replacement to the final visit for therapy and to see Dr. Burger and say so long to Marsha, I was treated with kindness and respect and it was much appreciated.  I filled out my form at therapy but wanted to pass along to the powers that be that I would HIGHLY recommend the group that I dealt with to anyone and everyone I know.  For the record I have done just that.

This is the way to do it! From reception to check-out all was smoothly organized and executed. The x-ray personnel worked as a team. The pre-consult was friendly and professional. Dr. Burger read the x-rays and then very clearly explained my options and reacted to my needs with a course of treatment responding to those wishes/needs.
