I had a total left hip replacement performed by Dr. Marc Wahlquist.

 

Truly everyone, including receptionists, pre-op education, incoming processing, operation prep, operating room (as much as I remember of them, LOL), anesthesiologists, PACU, physical therapy, nurse navigator, and staff at TriHealth on Liberty Way for post op, were very professional (knew what they’re doing), exhibited wonderful bedside manner (explained things they were doing, and were very helpful in being sure I understood what to expect), and set expectations for procedures (inserting IVs, putting on TED hose, training on use of battery powered leg compression devices, etc.).

 

Perhaps most significant was the skill of the surgical team, especially Dr. Marc Wahlquist, who was very helpful in his initial exam, the explanation of the surgery, and the surgery itself.  My recovery has been remarkably smooth, in fact, in my mind, miraculous.  I have a brother who went through a total hip replacement 4 years ago, and I know some of the struggles he has faced post-surgery.

Dr Wahlquist is easy to talk to and understands what you need. He explains in simple and caring ways and motivates you to heal properly. Both my husband and I have had to see him for injuries and will continue to go back if needed.

Dr. Marc Wahlquist receives my highest support and words of reference in every respect.
