David B. Argo, M.D.

Dr. Argo,

I am now 4 years from my heel sx that you performed and still pain free.  Additionally your diagnosis this summer as plantar fasciitis was correct and almost pain free.

Thank you so much and have a great holiday!

-Dan H.

My whole experience with Beacon was excellent. Not only was I able to schedule an MRI that same day, upon learning of the results they were contacting me immediately. I hadn’t left the parking lot when they called to advise me that my issues were not orthopaedic in nature. The staff were instrumental in securing the proper referral/appointment for the issue in question that same day.

Thank you Dr. Argo for doing a great job with Sean’s ACL and MCL surgery on 10/9/14! We couldn’t be happier with how his football season went health-wise. Sean started every game at running back and made 1st team All-GCL! Most importantly – NO KNEE ISSUES! Thank you and your staff for all you do!

-Paul and Linda Prophit

I would like to thank Dr. Argo and his PA Jamie for referring me to Children’s Hospital for genetic testing. I had been in pain for a decade and no one had suggested testing until Dr. Argo. I received my correct diagnosis and am now being treated properly. I am truly grateful for Dr. Argo and his staff for getting me answers that changed my life!

-I.K.

Dr. Argo, is excellent, patient friendly and knowledgeable about any condition. He spent enough time in the room with me. I will continue to refer all my friends to Beacon!

Dr. Argo and Staff, Thank you for providing the wonderful care that has now placed me in a position to get back to football at Oak Hills. The ACL injury was devastating last October, but over the course of these months, I have rehabilitated fully and am ready to play. I experience no pain. We are in full pads, and I have my first game coming up very soon. It’s been a long road to recovery, but I am stronger now. Thank you!

-Oak Hills High School Senior

I started swimming at the age of 13 for the local YMCA and needless to say I was the slowest one on the team. After getting a summer and winter season under my belt that following summer as a 14 year old I was breaking and creating pool records. Getting faster meant finding a team with a training regimen that would fit USA competitive swimming and that took me to Cincinnati Marlins and Miami Valley Aquatic Club along with swimming varsity for my high school Lakota West. After high school I attended Wittenberg University and swam Varsity. Throughout my high school, club and college swimming I developed persistent shoulder problems that would not go away. I managed to hold my own with a shoulder that would randomly slip out all of the time, but that didn’t stop me from placing top 12 in the 500 and top 8 in the 1650 free at Conference. Through the span of 1999-2006 I had six shoulder surgeries on my right shoulder and with each one I was recommended to stop swimming. I couldn’t just give up on a sport that I love and enjoy. The injury cost me a lot, Nationals, Olympic Trials and a lot of time out of the water. The six shoulder surgeries that I had consisted of capsular shifts, labrum repairs and debridements and after each surgery I was told the same thing, “ If you don’t stop swimming your going to need a shoulder replacement by the time you are 25”. By the time 2006 had rolled around I had my sixth shoulder surgery that was just a debridement, but I started to think, “I’m tired of having my shoulder constantly cleaned out with no relief from pain.” I decided to see Dr. Argo, just from seeing all of the success he had with other patients I wanted to give it a shot. January 2007 he performed a capsular shift and a labral repair and to say I am finally pain free for once. It took over a year for me to get back to swimming, but I am back in the water enjoying what I love to do. It may be on a recreation level right now, but I hope that someday I can swim competitively again. Thank you!
