Youth Sports Restart on May 26

In these rapidly changing times, it is hard to keep up with all of the news. At Beacon, we are staying on top of it and aligning our services to be there when you need us most. Youth sports have restarted as of Tuesday, May 26. We are staffed up and have sports medicine physicians and specialists available at all of our locations.

Governor Mike DeWine announced that limited-contact and non-contact activities such as golf, softball, baseball, tennis and paddle sports can resume on May 26. Additionally, contact sports including high school sports can resume non-contact training and conditioning on May 26th as well. Our Beacon Athletic Trainers will be working closely with their schools to develop safety protocols as they ramp up. The Ohio Department of Health also released new guidelines for baseball and softball players and spectators that you can find here.

For over 24 years you have trusted us as your orthopedic and sports medicine experts. We take that responsibility seriously and are realigning our services to be there for you. We are now offering same-day appointments at all of our Cincinnati and Dayton locations. Simply call 513-354-3700 or schedule online. All of our services from surgeries to physical therapy to imaging are fully operational.

We value our patients and the communities we serve. That’s why we were the first in the Tri-State to have doctors on the sidelines during high school sporting events, offer extended orthopaedic hours, added an on-site surgery center and launched telehealth video visits so you can see us from the comfort of your homes. Our patients are at the center of our care model and we’ll be there when you need us.
