Spine specialist Dr. Michael Rohmiller talks with WLW-T about the expansion of the Beacon Northern Kentucky location. The response to Beacon’s southernmost campus has been overwhelming, and all that with less than a year since its opening.
As a native of Northern Kentucky, Dr. Rohmiller is excited to see Beacon stretch a little further south. Over the past couple of years, Beacon has noticed a growing number of patients coming from places like Erlanger, Ft. Thomas, Hebron, Alexandria, and even further south. Recognizing that better care could be provided closer to home, some of the physicians brought up a new location.
“Beacon has been thrilled,” explained Dr. Rohmiller. “They have been very receptive.” From the local community’s great response, it sounds like Northern Kentucky residents are also thrilled.
“Now they have access to all the capabilities of Beacon at home in Northern Kentucky,” the doctor continued. This allows Beacon to serve patients who might not drive to Anderson, Harrison Ave., or Sharonville. For doctors and patients alike, the expansion of Beacon Northern Kentucky is great news.
