BEACON ORTHOPAEDICS OPENS WALK-IN CLINIC IN NORTHERN KENTUCKY
Erlanger, KY 10/20/2016 – Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is proud to announce the grand opening of its extended hours walk-in clinic at its Erlanger location. Beginning Oct. 24, patients will be able to receive instant care from an orthopaedic specialist without making an appointment. This provides more efficient, expert care at a cost far less than an emergency room visit. Plus, it allows injured people to stay out of general waiting rooms, meaning less exposure to viruses and pathogens.
The Beacon Orthopaedics walk in clinic provides immediate care to patients with fractures, concussions, sprains, strains, dislocations, and other orthopaedic injuries. While an emergency room may result in a long wait before seeing a generalist, new patients who visit the walk-in clinic will see a specialist immediately. Hours are 8:00 am to 9:00 pm Monday through Friday and 8:00am to noon on Saturdays. The clinic is staffed by fellowship trained physicians and licensed orthopaedic physician assistants.
“We are constantly looking for the best ways to improve our services at Beacon Orthopaedics,” stated Andy Blankemeyer, CEO of the Cincinnati-based practice. “By extending our hours and allowing patients to walk right in and see a specialist, we are saving them time and money, while keeping them out of hospital emergency rooms and urgent cares.”
Dr. David Sower, Medical Director for the walk in clinic continued, “Here at Beacon, we truly believe that personalized, on demand services from specialized physicians is the healthcare of the future. By allowing anyone with a sports injury or musculoskeletal condition to walk in and see a specialist, we are ready to serve patients the instant they need us.”
Beacon Orthopaedics offers walk in clinics Saturday mornings, starting at 8AM, at its Summit Woods (Sharonville), West (Harrison Ave) and East (Beechmont) locations. However, the Erlanger office is currently the only location offering extended walk in hours during the week.
