Gonzalez  came to Cincinnati complaining of right elbow pain from the Florida Marlins in 2005. Treated at the Beacon Orthopaedic Center. Alex returned to baseball resuming his stellar play for the World Champion Boston Red Sox in their hunt for American League division title in 2006.
