 John W. Wolf, Jr., M.D. is the founding President of Beacon Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. He is past President of the Medical Staff of the Good Samaritan Hospital and past Secretary/Treasurer of the Staff of the Mercy Franciscan Western Hills Hospital. He is a native of Cincinnati. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of Virginia and then a fellowship at Yale University. He was on the teaching staff at the University of North Carolina until he came back to his native Cincinnati to the private practice of orthopaedic surgery.His special interests are adult reconstructive orthopaedics. He and his wife of 37 years are the parents of four children. His recreational interests include competitive and blue water sailing.
