David B. Argo, MD, is a fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. He received his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee, where he was captain of the varsity soccer team. He earned his medical degree and completed an orthopaedic residency at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Argo recently completed a prestigious orthopaedic sports medicine and arthroscopy fellowship with the Mississippi Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Center, dedicated to state of the art advancements in the arthroscopic treatment of the shoulder, elbow, and knee. He has worked extensively with athletes at the high school, college and professional levels while in Tennessee and Mississippi. Dr. Argo worked for Procter and Gamble as an engineer and project manager prior to attending medical school, and has close ties to the Cincinnati area.
Dr. Argo will see patients at Beacon’s Glenway office and perform surgery at Mercy Franciscan Hospital Western Hills, Good Samaritan Hospital in Clifton, and at the new Beacon West Surgery Center when it is completed.
His interests in orthopaedics include the arthroscopic treatment of the shoulder, elbow, and knee as well as general orthopaedic care. He also has extensive training in joint reconstruction and fracture care.
