Jaideep Chunduri, MD is a native of Dayton, Ohio where he graduated from Northmont Senior High School in 1991. Following his residency, he completed a fellowship in Spine Surgery at the Southern California Orthopaedic Institute outside of Los Angeles, California. Dr. Chunduri treats a variety of operative and non-operative spinal disorders in the neck, mid-back, and lower back. These include herniated discs, spinal stenosis, instability, fractures, and scoliosis. He has a special interest in minimally invasive spinal surgery and motion preservation (non-fusion) technologies.
David B. Argo, MD is a fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. He has worked extensively with athletes at the high school, college and professional level, including being the team physician for Oak Hills High School, East Central High School, and the College of Mount Saint Joseph. His interests in orthopaedics include minimally invasive arthroscopic treatment of the shoulder (rotator cuff, throwers shoulder, fractures), as well as minimally invasive treatments of the elbow and knee. He also has extensive training in joint reconstruction and fracture care.
John E. Bartsch, MD is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He received his undergraduate degree from Azusa Pacific University in California, and his medical degree from Medical College of Ohio. He completed both his internship and residency at Ohio State University Medical Center.
Allison M. Phelps, MD is a Sports Medicine and Musculoskeletal specialist. She received her undergraduate degree in Microbiology from the University of Illinois and her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. In July, she will begin her new practice at the Beacon Summit Woods location.
Michael T. Rohmiller, M.D. is a native of Northern Kentucky a graduate of the the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Vanderbilt Universtiy Medical Center in Nashville, TN. In 2005, Dr. Rohmiller returned to Greater Cincinnati and joined Cincinnati Spine Institute. He is excited to move his practice to Beacon Orthopaedics in 2013. He will see patients at the new Northern Kentucky location in Erlanger, Kentucky and at the Summit Woods location in Sharonville.
John Brannan, MD was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, attended St. Xavier High School and serves as team Physician for Roger Bacon High School. He has special interests in clinical spine medicine, sports medicine, rehabilitation, and electrodagnosis. As Beacon’s physiatrist, Dr. Brannan specializes in non-operative spine care in The Spine Center at Beacon Orthopaedics.
Robert Burger, MD is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio where he graduated from LaSalle H.S. and went on to attend Notre Dame University. Dr. Burger has a special interest in knee and shoulder injuries and is actively involved in education and clinical research in these areas. He is the Head Team Physician and co-director of Sports Medicine at Xavier University, Orthopaedic Surgeon for the College of Mt. St. Joseph, and team physician for LaSalle H.S.
Peter S. Cha, MD received his undergraduate degree in Economics from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, and his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed an orthopaedic residency at the University of Cincinnati and a fellowship in orthopaedic sports medicine and shoulder surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. His specialties include trauma, reconstructive procedures, minimally invasive surgical techniques, and arthroscopy.
Haleem Chaudhary, MD provides expertise in hip resurfacing, computer assisted orthopaedic surgery, the unicondylar knee replacement, and total joint revisions of the hip and knee. Dr. Chaudhary is board certified and fellowship trained in adult joint reconstruction from the Anderson Orthopaedic Research Institute in Alexandria, Virginia. He will see patients at Beacon West, and Summit Woods.
Glen A. McClung, MD is a fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. He received his undergraduate degree from Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina, and his medical degree from West Virginia School of Medicine in Morgantown. He completed an internship and residency at Medical College of Ohio and his fellowship in sports medicine from Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center.
Mohab Foad, MD is Beacon’s hand specialist. He specializes in the treatment of hand and upper extremity disorders. Dr. Foad completed his hand and microsurgery fellowship training at The Indiana Hand Center in Indianapolis. He is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon.
Daniel Fox, MD is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio where he graduated from Woodward High School in 1967. His major interests are reconstructive orthopedics including hip, shoulder and knee replacement surgery, as well as sports medicine and arthroscopy.
Steve Hamilton, MD is a native of the west side of Cincinnati, OH. He graduated from LaSalle High School and attended University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Hamilton finished a one year fellowship at Steadman-Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas in sports medicine and shoulder reconstruction. Dr. Hamilton returns to Cincinnati , joining Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. He will see patients at their Sharonville, Harrison Avenue, and Northern Kentucky locations.
Meet Dr. Sam Koo, and you’ll immediately appreciate his warm, caring bedside manner that compliments his extensive expertise in all matters ranging from fingertip to shoulder. Even in today’s fast-paced world, he takes the time to develop relationships with his patients, to secure their trust and confidence prior to recommending treatment options. He will always discuss non-surgical and surgical options (if applicable), and explain the value and effectiveness of each approach.
Timothy Kremchek, MD is a Cincinnati native and a 1986 graduate of the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Tufts University in Boston and a sports medicine fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham under the direction of Dr. James Andrews. He is in his 19th year with the Cincinnati Reds as medical director and chief orthopaedic surgeon. Dr. Kremchek’s professional interests range from advanced arthroscopic repair of the shoulder and knee injuries to total joint reconstructions and joint replacements.
Justin J. Kruer, MD joined Beacon on October 1, 2013 and sees patients at our new Northern Kentucky Office. Dr. Kruer is an anesthesiologist and fellowship trained in Pain Medicine. He attended The University of Notre Dame for his undergraduate studies and completed medical school at the University of Louisville. He lives in Edgewood, Kentucky with his wife, Kira, and four children.
Martin McTighe, MD is a native Cincinnati, Ohio where he graduated from McNicholas High School and the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He has a special interest in joint replacement surgery and arthroscopic surgery. Also, he is an avid supporter of Beacon Orthopaedics sports medicine programs.
Ian P. Rodway, MD, is a native of Mason, Ohio where he graduated from William Mason High School. He is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon and is fellowship trained in spinal surgery. He is qualified in all aspects of spinal surgery, with particular interests in degenerative conditions of the cervical and lumbar spine, adult deformity, and minimally invasive and motion sparing techniques including disc replacement. He works along side Dr. Chunduri in The Spine Center at Beacon Orthopaedics.
Robert Rolf, MD is a native of Cincinnati and a graduate of La Salle High School. Dr. Rolf completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Ga. He continued his training as a shoulder and elbow specialist during a fellowship at the Boston Shoulder Institute at Harvard. Throughout his fellowship he received extensive training in advanced arthroscopic techniques of the shoulder, as well as specialized experience in complex shoulder reconstructive procedures including tendon transfers, shoulder replacement and reverse shoulder replacement.
Henry Stiene, MD is a fellowship trained and Board Certified in Primary care Sports Medicine. He completed a one-year primary care sports medicine fellowship at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr. Stiene’s professional interests include injury prevention, pre-participation evaluation, management of acute and chronic illness or injury, fractures and rehabilitation as applied to a broad spectrum of undifferentiated patients. Dr. Stiene is also an emerging leader in the field of regenerative and biologic orthopaedics through the utilization of the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections.
Angel L. Velazquez, MD is a primary care sports medicine physician. He received his undergraduate degree at Universidad de Puerto Rico and his medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara. He is Fifth Pathway certified, and completed his residency in family medicine at St. Elizabeth Medical Center and his fellowship in primary care sports medicine from Bethesda Family Medicine and Beacon Orthopedics & Sports Medicine.
